Moncler
Founded in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, near Grenoble, by René Ramillon and André Vincent, Moncler began by creating technical products designed for mountain life and protection from extreme conditions. The down jacket soon became central to the brand’s identity, combining performance, warmth and distinctive construction. Since Remo Ruffini acquired Moncler in 2003, his vision has evolved the brand’s alpine heritage into a broader contemporary expression while preserving a strong focus on innovation and functionality. Technical materials, precise construction and refined detailing remain central, allowing Moncler to move naturally between mountain environments and urban life.
