Hoka One One

Founded in France in 2009 by Jean-Luc Diard and Nicolas Mermoud, HOKA, originally HOKA ONE ONE, was created with the ambition of developing a shoe that could make running smoother and more comfortable, initially especially over long distances and on trails. The founders developed models characterized by generous midsoles, high levels of cushioning and geometries designed to encourage a natural stride transition. From this research emerged an immediately recognizable design that eventually entered the lifestyle world as well. Running, trail and everyday styles share a philosophy based on movement, lightness and performance. HOKA interprets sports innovation through bold forms and technical solutions designed to make movement more accessible, comfortable and dynamic.
