Baracuta

Founded in Manchester in 1937 by brothers John and Isaac Miller, BARACUTA grew from the family’s experience in rainwear and their desire to create outerwear that was both practical and elegant. That same year, the G9 took shape, originally designed for golf and completed in 1938 with its distinctive Fraser Tartan lining. Ribbed cuffs and hem, a two-button collar, slanted pockets and the signature umbrella back yoke continue to define its identity today. Over time, the G9 moved beyond sport to become an icon of British culture and casual style. BARACUTA continues to reinterpret this heritage through outerwear and essential pieces that combine functionality, authenticity and timeless design, while maintaining a strong connection to its Manchester roots.
