Founded by Faraz Zaidi, FOUND grew from the meeting of the designer’s South Asian heritage and his upbringing in rural New Jersey. This dual identity became the foundation of a distinctive visual language shaped by culture, memory and craftsmanship. The collections bring together historical references, found textiles, embroidery, denim, knitwear and outerwear with contemporary forms and a strong attention to construction. Traditional techniques and multicultural influences give the pieces a lived-in character while preserving a sense of purpose and longevity. FOUND approaches clothing as a means of expression and cultural preservation, bringing personal memories and heritage into the present through thoughtful design.
