Lanvin

Founded in Paris in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, Lanvin is the oldest French couture Maison still in operation. Its language grew from an idea of refined, personal elegance developed through draping, embroidery, precious materials and a distinctive sensitivity to colour and decoration. Since September 2024, artistic direction has been entrusted to Peter Copping, appointed to open a new chapter for the Maison by drawing on the extensive heritage left by its founder. His couture experience places construction, fluidity and attention to detail at the centre, reinterpreting Lanvin’s heritage through a contemporary approach. Ready-to-wear, tailoring, accessories and footwear continue to express a sophisticated Parisian elegance where tradition, craftsmanship and modernity find a renewed balance.
