Giorgio Brato
Since 2001, Giorgio Brato has developed a distinctive language around leather, transforming imperfections, signs of wear and irregular surfaces into defining elements of design. The Italian designer is known for developing and refining a technique based on hand-washed, vegetable-tanned lambskin, giving the leather exceptional softness and a naturally vintage character. Jackets, outerwear, trousers and accessories are shaped through labour-intensive artisanal processes, allowing variations, scratches and tonal shifts to become part of each piece’s identity. Travel, nature and urban landscapes inspire an ongoing exploration of colour, texture and material. Giorgio Brato interprets Made in Italy through craftsmanship, individuality and a deeply tactile approach, creating leather pieces whose character emerges from the material itself.
