Comme des garçons Homme Plus
Founded in Tokyo in 1984 under the creative direction of Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus represents one of the most experimental territories within the Maison’s universe. The line explores the relationship between tailoring and deconstruction through jackets, trousers, shirts and outerwear that transform classic codes with unexpected volumes, layering and radical proportions. Traditional construction is often altered, multiplied or recomposed to create new relationships between body, fabric and movement. Tailoring materials coexist with technical finishes, graphic details and conceptual solutions that shift each season. Comme des Garçons Homme Plus approaches the wardrobe as a space for research, where precision of construction becomes the starting point for questioning rules, functions and aesthetic conventions.
