Church's
Church’s roots lie in the shoemaking tradition of Northampton, where the Church family was already working in the seventeenth century. In 1873, Thomas Church, together with his wife Eliza and sons Alfred and William, founded the brand’s first factory, laying the foundations for a history built on craftsmanship and innovation. Church’s soon introduced solutions that were revolutionary at the time, including shoes shaped differently for the right and left foot, half sizes and multiple widths. Oxford, Derby, loafer and boot styles continue to be developed today using selected leathers, complex techniques and constructions designed to last. Production remains deeply connected to Northampton, where tradition and manufacturing precision define an essential, recognizable form of British elegance capable of spanning generations.
