Paraboot
The history of Paraboot began in France in 1908 with Rémy-Alexis Richard, who developed the first shoes in the Isère district and in the 1920s introduced rubber soles inspired by boots discovered during a trip to the United States. The name Paraboot, registered in 1927, combines “Para,” a reference to the Amazonian port linked to the latex trade, with “boot.” The brand still maintains a strong French manufacturing identity today, with footwear built from selected leathers, traditional stitching and robust soles. Iconic styles such as Derbies and loafers combine comfort, durability and essential design, transforming techniques born from function into an authentic, timeless aesthetic.
