Founded in London in 1992 by Lee Alexander McQueen, the McQueen Maison emerged from a radical vision that combined British tailoring, theatricality and a constant exploration of nature, history and contemporary culture. Incisive cuts, dramatic proportions and a strong sense of storytelling established a distinctive language defined by individuality and subversive strength. Since December 2023, Seán McGirr has led the creative direction, reinterpreting the Maison’s heritage through a more urban and contemporary perspective. Tailoring, dresses, footwear and accessories continue to explore the tension between elegance and rebellion, with precise construction, expressive proportions and refined craftsmanship remaining central. McQueen continues to evolve its British identity through a bold and uncompromising creative language.
