Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs founded his own brand in New York in 1984 together with Robert Duffy, creating a project built on creativity, irony and freedom of expression. Over time, the American designer developed a language able to move naturally from grunge to glamour, from pop culture to more classic references while always retaining a strong personal component. Bags, footwear, ready-to-wear and accessories become tools for reinterpreting everyday life through unexpected proportions, colour and detail. Marc Jacobs remains the creative heart of the Maison today, continuing to experiment without committing to a single aesthetic. The result is an eclectic and immediately recognizable universe where individuality, irreverence and quality coexist with a constant ability to reinvent itself.
