New Balance
The history of New Balance began in Boston in 1906, when William J. Riley founded the New Balance Arch Support Company, developing arch supports designed to improve balance and comfort. The first running shoes followed in 1938, and after Jim Davis acquired the company in 1972, the brand accelerated its growth in sports performance. Models such as the 320 and 990 became milestones in a research path based on cushioning, stability, fit and construction quality. Today, sneakers, clothing and accessories move across sport and lifestyle while technical innovation remains central. New Balance combines more than a century of experience with functional, recognizable design capable of evolving without losing its connection to comfort and performance.
