Founded in Montelupo Fiorentino in 1921 by Guido Bitossi, Bitossi Ceramiche is deeply rooted in Tuscany’s centuries-old tradition of ceramic craftsmanship. From the outset, the company developed a distinctive approach to form, decoration and colour, combining artisanal knowledge with an ongoing spirit of experimentation. Sculptural shapes, tactile glazes, intense colours and hand-finished surfaces define a recognisable design language that continues to evolve through collaborations with contemporary designers. Each creation is handmade by specialised artisans in the historic Montelupo Fiorentino workshops, where traditional techniques meet material innovation and contemporary design. Bitossi Ceramiche approaches ceramics as an expressive medium, allowing texture, colour and craftsmanship to give each object a distinctive presence within the interior.
