Bologna and Italian underground culture are the starting points of the MAGLIANO universe, founded in 2017 by Luca Magliano. The designer revisits fundamental elements of the Italian wardrobe through an irregular, intimate and deliberately unconventional approach. Suits, waistcoats, shirts, knitwear and outerwear are deconstructed, layered or transformed through relaxed proportions, lived-in materials and unexpected details. Traditional elegance loses its rigidity and enters into dialogue with subcultures, everyday life and personal references. Luca Magliano builds a strongly narrative language where irony, imperfection and Italian identity coexist with precise research into garment construction. MAGLIANO interprets fashion as a space for freedom, memory and transformation.
