Francesco Russo

Founded in Paris in 2013 by Italian designer Francesco Russo, the eponymous brand grew from a deep knowledge of footwear and a desire to place the product back at the centre of the creative process. Pumps, sandals, boots and sculptural styles are designed like architecture, studying balance, proportion and the relationship between foot and construction. The designer chose to move beyond the traditional succession of seasons, developing a selection of styles intended to evolve over time. Asymmetric lines, graphic heels and precise workmanship define a sophisticated and immediately recognizable aesthetic. Francesco Russo interprets footwear as a design object, bringing together artisanal tradition, sensuality and formal research in creations made to retain their identity beyond trends.
