Founded in Paris in 1945 by Pierre Balmain, BALMAIN established its identity through an architectural approach to elegance, movement and precise tailoring. Since November 2025, Antonin Tron has led the creative direction, drawing on the Maison’s archives and its founder’s original vision while introducing a contemporary sense of restraint and fluidity. His approach explores the relationship between draping, structure and movement, with particular attention to the physical qualities of fabric. Tailoring, sculptural volumes, refined craftsmanship and carefully selected materials shape a distinctive wardrobe that balances dynamism with sophistication. BALMAIN continues to evolve its heritage through savoir-faire, precise construction and an ongoing exploration of form, translating its couture legacy into a modern and recognisable creative language.
