Founded in 2016 by Nicolò and Carlotta Oddi, ALANUI was conceived around the idea of transforming knitwear into something distinctive, shaped by craftsmanship, colour and references to distant cultures and landscapes. The cardigan, now one of the brand’s signatures, is reinterpreted through fine yarns, intricate jacquards, fringes and graphic motifs that require many hours of artisanal work. Each collection builds a visual world inspired by travel, freedom and cultural influences, translating these references into expressive pieces with a relaxed attitude. Exceptional materials, meticulous detailing and a highly recognisable approach to colour remain central to the brand.
