Founded in Stockholm in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman, TOTEME has developed a distinctive approach to style rooted in Swedish sensibility, materiality and considered design. The founders reinterpret familiar wardrobe archetypes through refined fabrics, rich textures, clean construction and carefully considered proportions, with close attention to function and longevity. Outerwear, knitwear, tailoring, bags, footwear and accessories are conceived as part of a continuously evolving wardrobe, with each collection building on and refining what came before rather than responding only to seasonal trends. A restrained palette and graphic detailing allow shape, texture and material quality to take centre stage.
