Junya Watanabe's flared jeans redefine denim codes through intricate sartorial deconstruction. Crafted from structured dark grey washed cotton canvas, they feature a bold flared silhouette. The right leg is adorned with an elaborate textural patchwork, integrating fragments of classic fabrics such as houndstooth and herringbone, finished with raw-cut edges. The front closure is secured by a bespoke metal button with coordinating rivets, reinforcing the garment's structure. The design is further enriched by a distressed detail on the left knee, the textural shadow of a removed back pocket, and unexpected cut-outs on the rear hems. An essential piece that celebrates manufacturing purity through a rebellious yet sophisticated aesthetic.
