Maison Michel
The history of Maison Michel began in Paris in 1936 within the great tradition of French millinery. Specializing in handcrafted hats and head accessories, the Maison preserves historic techniques while combining them with continuous research into materials, forms and new ways of wearing. Since 2015, artistic direction has been entrusted to Priscilla Royer, who has transformed the atelier into a true creative laboratory. Fedoras, caps, felt or straw hats and jewel-like accessories are reinterpreted through contemporary proportions, graphic details and innovative solutions. Royer’s research begins with traditional savoir-faire to create objects capable of expressing character and individuality, making the hat not a simple complement but a central element of style.
