Longchamp was founded in Paris in 1948 from the vision of Jean Cassegrain and built its history around leather craftsmanship, functionality and a dynamic idea of French elegance. Over time, the Maison expanded its universe to include bags, accessories, luggage and ready-to-wear while keeping the relationship between design and practicality central. Today, creative direction is entrusted to Sophie Delafontaine, third generation of the Cassegrain family, who continues to develop the brand’s identity through colour, movement and close attention to materials. Le Pliage, one of the Maison’s most recognizable creations, perfectly captures this philosophy of lightness and versatility. Longchamp continues a family project that naturally combines savoir-faire, innovation and everyday life.
