Barbour
Founded in 1894 by John Barbour in South Shields, northeast England, BARBOUR began by creating weather-resistant garments for sailors and workers exposed to the British climate. Still family-owned today, the company carries forward a tradition now in its fifth generation. Iconic waxed jackets such as the Bedale and Beaufort remain central to the brand’s identity and continue to be produced at the South Shields factory. Alongside outerwear, the collections include knitwear, shirts, footwear and accessories inspired by life in the British countryside. Functionality, durability and longevity guide a wardrobe that evolves without losing its authenticity. BARBOUR represents a practical, timeless style deeply connected to place, quality and British outdoor culture.
