SCARPA was founded in 1938 at the foot of the Dolomites, in the shoemaking district of Asolo and Montebelluna, with the aim of bringing together the finest local artisanal expertise in technical footwear. In 1956, the company was acquired by the Parisotto family, who still own it today and continue a heritage built on the meeting of tradition and innovation. From mountaineering and ski touring to climbing, trekking and trail running, SCARPA develops footwear engineered to respond precisely to movement and environment. Technical materials, construction research and comfort coexist with deeply Italian savoir-faire.
