Founded in 1948 by Giuseppe Marenzi and Alessandra Diana, Herno was born on the shores of Lake Maggiore, where rain, fog and humidity inspired the development of its first raincoats. Experimentation with materials has accompanied the brand from the beginning, starting with cotton treated with castor oil for early outerwear. Today, the Marenzi family continues to maintain strong creative and production control, evolving this expertise through down jackets, coats, jackets and technical outerwear.
