Miu Miu
Founded in 1993 as a freer and more experimental expression of Miuccia Prada’s vision, Miu Miu continues to be shaped by her creative direction today. The name comes from the designer’s nickname and reflects a universe built on contrast, irony and the constant reinterpretation of familiar wardrobe codes. Bourgeois references, preppy elements, sportswear, lingerie, leather and technical materials are combined in unexpected ways, creating an aesthetic that moves naturally between refinement and provocation. Bags such as the Arcadie and Wander, distinctive matelassé leather and unexpected proportions have become part of the brand’s recognisable language. Miu Miu explores identity, individuality and contemporary culture through fashion that feels instinctive, intellectual and constantly evolving.
