Founded by Liva Ramanandraibe, IBELIV was created to celebrate Madagascar’s natural resources and artisanal savoir-faire through contemporary design. Natural raffia is at the heart of the brand, hand-crocheted by Malagasy artisans and transformed into bags, hats and accessories defined by lightness, distinctive texture and clean forms. The project is deeply connected to the experience of Liva’s mother, Tiana Raharison, whose work in traditional crafts inspired an approach in which craftsmanship can become a source of independence and opportunity. Each creation combines functionality, simplicity and respect for the natural qualities of the material. IBELIV brings together Malagasy culture, responsible production and meticulous handwork in a contemporary design language shaped by authenticity, durability and a strong sense of place.
