COMME DES GARÇONS HOMME PLUS
In 1981, legendary fashion conceptualists Comme des Garçons heralded the notions that would become the cornerstones of conceptual fashion with its concepts of deconstruction, asymmetry and monochromatic color schemes and introduced the West to Japanese avant-garde. This holds true until today, their creations forever challenging the norms and pushing the envelope of their “anti-fashion” aesthetic under the guidance of head designer Rei Kawakubo. Comme des Garçons' men's line, Homme Plus, is clear testament to that with its re-imagination of menswear mainstays through a plethora of different treatments, hybrid garments and eccentric cuts.
