RED WING SHOES

In a story that defines the American dream, a street shoe dealer named Charles Beckman noticed a demand for comfortable and durable work boots, but there was no supply. So in 1905 he founded the Red Wing Shoe Company, taking its name and logo, as a commemorative gesture, from a Native American called the Red Wing.
