The revival of the ‘70s has accompanied us since last Spring/Summer with the come-back of fringes, crochet laces, tie-dye (which we have already discussed), and patchwork/color block. It was and still is one of the most important trends on both men’s and women’s catwalks. Today we take a look at patchwork/colorblock for men. Thanks to designers like Comme Des Garçons, Junya Watanabe and Calvin Klein, it is back to being a true must for the season.

Surely, when you hear the word “patchwork” you do not associate it with the fashion world in the first place, but to something closer to home, like a grandmother mending a shirt sewing a patch on the elbow. On FW19/20 catwalks, however, we have been treated to innovative and elegant items where quirky and fun prints were mixed to create unique and peculiar outfits.
