The collections of the past seasons were focused on eccentricity, eclectic prints and extravagance, for the SS20 the designers, instead, want to re-establish a vision of order and clean lines, inspired by the minimalism of the ‘90s. Until now it was only "one of the trends" seen on the runways but starting this season it has certainly become the most important trend. We are going back to the good old times of Tom Ford for Gucci, Calvin Klein, Helmut Lang, Jil Sander and Maison Margiela with the mantra "Less is more"!
So what are the best items to choose for this season? Obviously the undercoat dresses, ribbed tanks or tops, flat sandals and all the knitwear. Clearly all in neutral shades: the classic beige, in white and the everlasting black.
